Scientific Reports
Scientific reports follow a particular pattern. This pattern helps scientists to carry out their experiments in order to bring out correct findings. These are the steps:
Aim:
What you want to do.
Materials:
The things needed to carry out the experiment.
Method/Procedure:
The steps needed to follow to perform the experiment, including diagrams of the materials and apparatus as set up and how to use them.
Observations:
What you see or measure during the experiment.
Results:
The information collected after the experiment, it can be in a table form, sentences, diagram or graphs.
Discussion:
Interpret the meaning of your results. Look for patterns within the information you have collected.
Conclusion:
Make a final statement about the research findings.
