Fertilization
It is the fusion of the male and the female sex cells of living organisms to form a zygote.

Matured pollen grain drops on a sticky, hairy stigma and grows into a pollen tube.
The pollen tube grows down the style and moves towards the ovary.
When it reaches the ovary, the pollen tube pushes through the ovary wall to the ovules.
The male sex cell in the pollen tube then fuses with the female sex cell in the ovule to form a zygote.
Developed zygote is called embryo.
