Soil is the uppermost material on the surface of the earth. It is made up of minerals, air, organic matter, tiny living organism and water.

It is one of the most essential materials on earth since it supports plant growth.

There are three (3) types of soil namely sandy, loamy and clayey soil. Each type of soil has its own characteristics and behaviour.
