Ghana is made of ethnic groups. The 5 major ethnic groups are The Akans, The Ga-Adangme, The Mole Dagbon, The Guan and The Ewe
These ethnic groups moved a long way from different places and came to settle in present Ghana.
The movement of an ethnic group from one place to settle in another place is termed as migration
A group of people who speak a common language and trace their origin from a common ancestor is called an ethnic group. The various ethnic groups came from old Ghana Empire in parts of Senegal, Mali, and Kumbi Saleh
Whiles the Mole Dagbon group came from Lake Chad, the Ewes came from Benin and the Ga-Adangbes came from Nigeria
