Migration Route of The Mamprusi

This ethnic group were the first of the Mole Dagbani to settle in Ghana from the East of Lake Chad. Coming under the brave leadership of Tohazi also known as “Red Hunter” from Zamfara in Northern Nigeria, they moved to old Mali where they fought for the Malian Emperor

Migrating to settle in Pusiga, Tohazzie died and was succeeded by Na-Gbewa, after his death Zirile, eldest son of Na-gbewa succeeded him. The death of Zirile broke a civil war and was succeeded by Tohogu
