Managing of High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure like we said, is the hardening or narrowing of the arteries. High blood pressure is also called hypertension.

This is also the condition when a person’s blood pressure is above normal. Any reading above 160/100 millimeters of mercury (mm/Hg) is considered high blood pressure.

Hypertension has no cure at the moment but can be managed.

It can be managed in the following ways:

i. Reduction of alcohol intake

ii. Avoid smoking
