Plasma

This is a yellowish fluid, it carries the other parts of the blood around the body. The plasma has 90% of water.

It also carries the following;

i. Mineral Salt

ii. Hormones

iii. Gases such as carbon dioxide and oxygen

iv. Dissolved food such as amino acids and glucose

v. Waste substances
