Oceanic Birds

Just like the marine mammals and reptiles, some birds are also well adapted to the Marine environment. They include anks, albatrosses, petrels, penguins, and gannets. They spend majority of their lives at sea.

Many oceanic birds have diverse methods of feeding and take different types of prey. This is dependent on the structure of their bills. The ocean's vast nature serves as haven for a lot of organisms, organisms that cannot be completely exhausted. Knowledge of some of these organisms will help build a baseline for future decisions and also to know what can be exploited to provide food for man.
