Machines

Machine is a device that allows work to be done easier and faster.

Fewer people are used to do work in a shorter time when a machine is used. A Small force is used to complete difficult or a lot of work when using a machine.

A machine is any device that applies a small force to overcome a large force.

Examples:

i. When a forklift driver uses a forklift vehicle to lift a container.

ii. When a wheelbarrow is used to transport five bags of cement.

There are two types of machines

They are:

i. Simple machine

ii. Complex machine
