Power

It is the rate at which work is done. Power depends on the time taken to do a given amount of work.

Power = work / time or energy used / time taken

P = w /t

The SI unit for power is watt (W).

One watt (W) is the power available when one joule (J) of work is done in one second

1 watt (W) = 1 Joule per second (J/s)
