Fostering National Unity

A country is made up of people from different ethnic groups, people with different ways of life and with different ideas. Unity must be fostered in order to maintain peace and order. It can be done through:

a. Promoting inter-ethnic marriages

b. Respecting other ethnic groups’ culture and values.

c. Tolerating and respecting other people’s political and general opinions.

d. Encouraging the boarding house system.
