The Vegetation of Ghana

Vegetation refers to all plants or it is plant life of a place taken as a whole. It includes trees, shrubs and grasses. There is primary and secondary vegetation.

Primary vegetation is any vegetation that has been in a particular region since that region reached its current climate and that which has not been disturbed by humans.


Secondary vegetation is the type of vegetation that has been influenced by the activities of man.
