Highlands
Places ranging between 300-600 metres above sea level are classified as highlands in Ghana. Mount Afadjato which is the highest point in Ghana is 872 metres above sea level.
Other prominent highlands include:
- Akwapim - Togo range
- Gambaga Scarp
- Kwahu - Mampong-Koforidua Ridge
- Bole - Wa Lawra hills
- Zabzugu hills
From the above examples, it can be seen that highlands include mountains, ridges, plateau and hills.
