Convectional Rainfall

This type of rainfall occurs when;

i. The sun heats the ground and warm air rises

ii. As, the air rises, it cools and water vapor condenses to form clouds

iii. When the condensation point is reached, large cumulonimbus clouds are formed.

iv. Heavy rain storms occur. These usually include thunder and lightning due to the electrical charge created by unstable conditions.
