Dissected Plateau

It is formed usually on a comparatively small scale, by the leveling of terrain, by planning and deposition beneath an ice sheet or perhaps an ice cap, a dissected plateau is a plateau that has been severely eroded so that the relief is sharp.

Examples: JOS plateau in Nigeria, Fauta Djallon Mountain in Guinea.
