Plateaux

A plateau is flat area of land that is elevated above sea level. The word ‘Plateau; is a French word which means ‘table land.’ Plateaux are highlands with flat summits that resemble plains.

Plateaux have the advantages of both mountains and plains making them very useful for agriculture and animal rearing.
